The Faculty of Foundry Engineering of the AGH University of Science and Technology was established in 1951. It is the only faculty with this profile in the structure of higher education in Poland. He has full academic rights to education at all levels. The Faculty of Foundry Engineering educates on various types of studies, based on programs tailored to the requirements and needs of the modern economy, engineers and master engineers – specialists in various areas of casting technology (technology of casting from various alloys, mechanization, automation and foundries design, artistic casting, environmental protection and the use of computers in casting technology). Education is conducted by a staff of academic teachers composed of professors, doctors and masters.
